How do I get started with a good strength training/fitness program that doesn’t suck, using just these resources, that I can stick with? What should the program consist of? How many times a week? How many reps? How do I adjust the program as I get fitter?
If it matters, I’m male, 30, 6′1, and 185 pounds of flab. I can do about 10 pushups and 1 pullup. resting pulse 76 bpm.

In terms of my current excercize routine I sleep, work behind a desk all day, then get in my kayak and paddle 4 to 16 miles every day while guzzling beer, wine and the occasional “Sparks” or “Snake Eyes” caffinated malt beverage. This routine has made look downright hot, except for my rotund belly. That and I also suffer from spastic ****** muscle twitching, memory loss, and fits of hysterical blindness, but those things are just natural. Back to the belly. Can I burn it off without curbing my drinking?

Special K with reduced fat milk and an apple for breakfast, a salad for lunch, and as for dinner…a half portion of whatever my family’s having including desert.

I work at McDonalds, so I thought that I’d go to smoothie king and get a small smoothie during my breaks. Then, I can chew on sugar free gum while i’m working to avoid the temtaion of putting anything in my mouth.

I’ll also do a twenty minute taebo workout every morning,and an hour long dance workout three times a week.

My goal? To be healthy for the rest of my life, but to weigh 130 pounds, and look good in a swim suit by June 23rd: our disney vacation.

i can chew gum at work as long as it’s not while i’m on the register. Maybe i’ll just drink a lot of water instead. For breaks, I’ll go to China walk and load up on their vegetables. I still plan on using the colon cleanser for other reasons, but maybe i’ll skip the fluid tablets. Oh, and I know i can’t lose thirty pounds in seven weeks! I only want to be able to look okay in a one piece by then…not be anorexic.
after consulting the internet, i’ve decided to void the diruetics all together. What about fiber tablets?
