BNM asked: I am doing the You on a Diet exercise routine and it hurts when I stretch and it is hard to get into the positions to do it because I am so out of shape. Will this eventually get more comfortable to do and will I get more flexible? One of the stretches is to touch your toes. HA HA! I cannot barely get halfway down! Will it get better!!??? I am not too overweight. I only need to lose about 25 lbs. I just want to get healthier and more flexible and stronger.

dancedancedance33 asked: I’m 19 and I want to lose some weight for a trip I’m going on in 7 weeks. I have a treadmill but I have to be careful about my asthma. I have been doing exersizes like lunges and crunches and even some pilates tapes but I know that if I don’t bring some cardio into my workout it will be all for nothing. What kind of cardio can I do that is low impact so it won’t cause an asthma attack but will also burn fat?

Hello asked: What are some of the main workouts that they have you do in Army Basic? Obviously pushups and running, but more specific; what kind of running and other exercises do you do excessively in Basic?

I recently decided to incorporate weights into my routine because my weight loss had slowed and I wanted some tone, particularly in my arms and back. Is there a certain ratio of time a should dedicate to cardio vs. weights?
